Rigorous Curriculum
MCA uses a combination of a content-rich curriculum and the Socratic Method to open student’s minds for a deeper understanding of subjects. Classical academies around the country have proven that this curriculum surpasses the “teach to the test” mindset of other public and private school curriculums. 

Latin Language
MCA offers Latin, a foundational language, so that children are afforded critical knowledge which improves their capacity to build an extensive vocabulary and excellent grammar in English and other languages. Almost 60% of the English language is derived from Latin.

Civics Curriculum
Civics and self-governance principals including unalienable rights, natural law, American constitutionalism and the free market system are important to understanding American history and culture.  All MCA students will read and understand the Constitution, among other founding documents and primary source materials. 

School-Wide Math Blocks
Students at MCA school-wide are offered math at the same time of the day so children can be placed at their correct math ability. Each child will be placed and taught at the level and pace to allow maximum retention and long-term success.

Cultural Literacy through Core Knowledge
MCA students have superior reading comprehension and cultural literacy necessary for well-rounded, functional American citizens. MCA’s Core Knowledge program covers and analyzes historical events, geography, scientific discoveries and the humanities (art and music) while deploying the Socratic Method to foster more complete understanding of a subject. 

Character Building
MCA students learn and understand their success can only be built on MCA’s Eight Pillars of Character: Citizenship, Cooperation, Courage, Honesty, Integrity, Perseverance, Respect and Responsibility.
